Launch of West Africa Youth Protection Advocacy Network (WAYPAN)

Today, Building Blocks for Peace Foundation announces the establishment of the West Africa Youth Protection Advocacy Network (WAYPAN). This regional youth-led initiative is designed to respond to the concerning trend of shrinking civic space across West Africa and promote meaningful youth leadership in governance. WAYPAN will bring together young leaders from across the region to advocate for the protection of civic spaces and the inclusion of youth in decision-making processes.
